Christian Bradley West is a self-taught artist, designer, and writer, collaborating with many mediums from photography and painting to textiles.

Well-known for his miniature drawings of found photographic imagery, as well as his turn-of the-century-process photographs, he is also equally known for his cross-media explorations including sculpture, assemblage, and installation.

By using objects that appear useless or have been thrown away, themes of transmutation through intuition, meditation, and cognition are inherent in his work.

His art has been included in numerous exhibits from Houston to New York to London, and he has been featured in New American Paintings twice and Interior Design magazine for his textile collaborations with Solutia Inc. As a textile designer working for Karastan Contract, he designed many carpet collections such as Covet, Lace It or Leave It, Pretty Concrete, and Fluid Terrain, a collaboration with designer Irena Peer.

The High Museum of Art and Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA) have acquired his work, and he is included in numerous private collections such as the Sir Elton John Photography collection.

Christian recently finished his first novel and his memoir.

He holds a degree in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University. He was born and raised in Richmond, VA.
